Once the clients’ childhood home, it was transformed into their long-term dream residence after their final parent passed. Inspired by resorts and boutique hotels, they envisioned a brighter, more open layout with modern comfort, improved flow, and spaces that felt both elevated and deeply personal. Working from the architect’s structural plans, our team refined the cabinetry, materials, tile, finishes, and overall experience while reconfiguring interior walls, adding a large family room, and creating a new upper-level storage space for their love of holiday decorating. Clean sightlines, custom stained-glass windows, curated lighting, and hotel-inspired touches, including the sliding glass entry to the primary bath, bring a sense of lightness and luxury. From the kitchen to the backyard pool area, the home now lives as a comfortable, resort-like retreat that honors its history while embracing a refreshed, timeless design.
